Prenuptial Agreements

Battles over finances can be brutal and have ruined many marriages and made divorce more painful than necessary.  Prenuptial agreements are a smart way to set expectations up front and avoid major conflicts in the long run.

Prenuptial agreements are ideal for small business owners, couples who have been married before and/or have children from a previous relationship and individuals who have sizable assets going into a marriage, such as a home. The agreement can include provisions for division of property and spousal support in the event of divorce or separation.

When entering into a prenup, it is recommended that both parties work with attorneys who specialize in family law.  Pandora and her team are experienced in the area of family law, and can provide valuable guidance throughout the process.  Pandora and her team can also provide valuable advice regarding what can’t (or shouldn’t) be included in a prenup agreement.  We recommend starting the prenup process well before your wedding date, so that you and your future spouse will have plenty of time to review the terms and come to an agreement.
