Pandora E. Palmer was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1994, the Hawaii Bar in 2001, and the United States Supreme Court in June 2018.  Pandora  has experience litigating in courtrooms throughout Georgia, and is supported by a seasoned team that is dedicated to serving clients with respect and sensitivity.

Pandora is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Hawaii State Bar, the Clayton County Bar Association, the Henry County Bar Association, the Rockdale County Bar Association, the Towaliga Bar Association, the Henry County Kiwanis Club, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, the Atlanta Lawyers Club, the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International.

The American Institute of Family Law Attorneys named Pandora as a member of the 10 Best Female Attorneys in 2016, 2017 and 2018.  She was named as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and was featured as a Top Lawyer in the April 2013, April 2014, April 2015 and April 2016 editions of Southern Journal magazine.  She is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.  The Martindale-Hubbell ratings system is based on peer reviews and the AV Preeminent rating ranks Pandora at the highest level of professional excellence.  She was named as a 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.  The mission of the NADC is to objectively recognize the attorneys who elevate the standards of the Bar and provide a benchmark for other attorneys to emulate.  In 2015, Pandora was named as a Lifetime Charter Member of the Rue Ratings’ Best Attorneys of America as determined by her extraordinary level of legal expertise, competency, professional reputation and ethical standards.  Less than one percent of lawyers of America and fewer than 100 attorneys in Georgia are invited to become members of this prestigious organization.

Prior to starting her current practice in October 2012, Mrs. Palmer was a manager with Smith, Welch, Webb & White, LLC, which was formerly known as the firm of Smith, Welch & Brittain, LLP, from 2004 until May 2011, becoming a partner with Smith, Welch & Brittain, LLP in 2005. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1999, Mrs. Palmer was employed in private practice specializing in the areas of family law, criminal law, juvenile law, personal injury and civil litigation. From 2000 to 2001, Mrs. Palmer was employed with Domestic Violence Clearinghouse and Legal Hotline in Maui, Hawaii and upon becoming licensed in Hawaii in 2001, she became Supervising Attorney for the Maui Office. She specialized in family law cases involving victims of domestic violence. From 2002 to 2003, Mrs. Palmer was in private practice with the law firm of Millar, Mixon and Hunt.

Pandora has had extensive training in the area of domestic violence and served on the board for the Clayton County Association Against Family Violence, Inc. (a/k/a Securus House) from January 2002 to 2008, becoming board president in 2007.   Pandora was involved with the Henry County Haven House, which provides assistance to victims of domestic violence, by serving on the Board of Directors from 2011 through 2016; serving as the Vice President of the Board of Directors in 2012 and 2013 and as the President of the Board of Directors in 2014 and 2015.  In 2012 Governor Nathan Deal appointed Mrs. Palmer to the Georgia Circuit Public Defender Supervisory Council for a 4 year term; and Governor Deal recently appointed her to serve a second 4 year term.  She served as the President of the Henry County Bar Association in 2016.
